Circle of
Benefactors

From its earliest days, this contemplative work has been sustained by those who believed in its vision and offered foundational support.

We honor both the Founders Circle and the e‑Anam Cara Circle, whose generosity and companionship continue to shape the life of this school.

Foundational Benefactors

In 2019, after much consultation with trusted friends and mentors, I chose to establish Evolving Enneagram as an LLC rather than as a nonprofit organization. It was a significant step — one that required faith, courage, and a willingness to enter unfamiliar territory.

At that time, I had never worked for myself, nor had I been trained in building or sustaining a business. The vision for this contemplative work was clear, but its practical foundation was still being formed.

I remain deeply grateful to the members of the Founders Circle — ministers, teachers, retirees, and friends — who each offered a foundational gift of $500, freely and without condition, to help bring this work into being and draw a wider circle of compassion in our world.

Their trust and generosity helped lay the foundation for what has since grown into an international contemplative formation school.

With gratitude,
Rev. Nhien

e‑Anam Cara Circle

In the Celtic tradition, anam cara means “soul friend.”

The e‑Anam Cara Circle was formed in support of the launch of The Enneagram of the Soul. Seventeen donors contributed to this effort, helping to bring this interspiritual companion into wider circulation.

Those who contributed $500 or more are honored here as members of the e‑Anam Cara Circle — whose generosity echoes the foundational gifts that first launched this school.

Living Lineage

This school stands within a lineage of patronage — shaped by those who believed in its vision and entrusted it with their support.

In partnership with our benefactors, Evolving Enneagram has offered tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships since its founding in 2012. This work has also found its way into nonprofit organizations and correctional settings — not only through the spirit of oneness that guides our team, but through the generosity of those who understand patronage as a meaningful way to extend its reach.

As the circle continues to widen, we remain grateful for those who sustain its present and help steward its future.

If you feel called to participate in this lineage of generosity, we welcome conversation.

Scholarship Fund

Evolving Enneagram is an innovative business endeavoring to operate on a ministry model. As we serve individuals from diverse spiritual and socio‑economic backgrounds, we remain committed to offering scholarships and programs on a pay‑what‑you‑can basis — so that no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Every gift, of any size, directly widens who can take part in this contemplative work. Contributions to the scholarship fund help sustain reduced‑cost and full scholarships for students who could not otherwise participate.

How to Give

Evolving Enneagram is a community-centered business that seeks to do business differently. Because we are an LLC and not a nonprofit, contributions are not tax-deductible. If you still feel inspired to give, we are deeply grateful — every gift helps keep scholarships and CPE programming accessible to all who need them.

Extending the Work

Alongside our scholarship work, this contemplative practice reaches beyond our own programs — through Rev. Nhien’s personal service and the generosity of our community — into causes that share our vision of wholeness and compassion.

Reaching Out From Within

Reaching Out From Within (ROFW) is an incarcerated‑led program, established in Kansas in 1982, that empowers residents to transform themselves and heal one another. Rev. Nhien serves as a volunteer, bringing her pastoral counseling and Enneagram expertise to this program since 2020.

Throughout the Years

Over the years, Rev. Nhien and our community have also given leadership, time, teaching, and support to:

  • River of Refuge — several years of board service, plus hosting Christmas, Halloween, and other celebrations for the families and children in a program that moves working families from motels and shelters into permanent housing. Learn more

  • Center for Conflict Resolution (TCKC) — an Enneagram benefit event with proceeds donated, supporting restorative‑justice reentry for incarcerated residents preparing to return home. Learn more

  • The Sewing Labs — volunteering, donated funds, and Enneagram services for its fundraisers, supporting an inclusive community teaching the legacy of sewing for employment, entrepreneurship, and enrichment. Learn more

  • Artists Helping the Homeless — a free speaking engagement supporting aid and advocacy for the unhoused in Kansas City. Learn more

  • Humanitarian relief in Ukraine — a community fundraiser in a season of urgent need. Learn more

I live my life in widening circles that reach out across the world.
