The Enneagram is an extraordinary framework for transformational development. A multi-dimensional model of consciousness, the Enneagram equips each of us with a highly precise and accurate roadmap for discerning our life purpose and embodying our fullest potential.
“Ennea” comes from the Ancient Greek word ennéa, which means “nine.” “Gram” comes from the Greek term “grammos,” which means "chart." The Enneagram image is of a circle with 9 points interconnected along the circle's circumference and by inner lines that form a triangle and a head.
At its most basic level then, the Enneagram is a 9-pointed chart of you, of me, and of how we each tend to perceive and thus interact with ourselves, our world, and one another.

About The Founder
Founder of Evolving Enneagram, Nhien Vuong, J.D., M.Div., (she/her/hers) has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California Irvine, a Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School, and a Masters of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary. Nhien left her San Francisco law career in 2012 to pursue a calling to support our conscious evolution. An ordained Unity minister, Nhien offers a compassionate, interspiritual path of transformation without dogma—an Enneagram-informed path that honors and is rooted in each person’s unique background, personality, and beliefs.
An Accredited Enneagram Professional, Nhien has had the honor of presenting at the International Enneagram Association Global Conferences in 2019 and 2021. Over the past 3 years, Nhien has also been invited to serve alongside an elite faculty of 100 Enneagram teachers to present at the Enneagram Global Summit hosted by The Shift Network—an event that reaches 40k+ people in over 110 countries.
As head faculty for Evolving Enneagram, Nhien works with three adjunct faculty to offer transformational Enneagram-based spiritual counseling, consulting, and community-building to individuals, families, and organizations around the world. Committed to the greater good, Nhien regularly offers scholarships for Evolving Enneagram’s many transformational programs and personally volunteers to teach the Enneagram to non-profits, the incarcerated, and 12-step recovery groups.
Evolving Enneagram’s birthday is September 9, 2019! We think that’s an auspicious date (9-9-2019) for an Enneagram organization! Our founder Nhien Vuong’s birthday is also 9-29—year of birth undisclosed!
Within just 2 years of doing business, Nhien had the honor of adding three amazing Adjunct Faculty: Kristina Frank, Angela Joy Eby, and George Gordon. Our faculty members don’t just “work” together. We consider one another as friends—family, really—in real life!
In her first year of doing business solo as Evolving Enneagram, Nhien was able to offer $2400 by matching 1:1 funds donated by our very own EE community members.
Evolving Enneagram serves individuals and organizations around the world, with our presence increasingly known in Denmark, Egypt, Sweden, Canada, and Mexico!
