We live in a world of violent actions and words. In his timely book, Say What You Mean, Sofer shares principles of nonviolent communication paired with mindfulness practices. In 2020, Evolving Enneagram offered a book study on this topic. Now, we are offering a practice group for any and all individuals, couples, business partners, and families interested in gathering in community (online) and developing their skills in the tenets of these practices.
 
In these 2-hour-long sessions, we will be practicing with each other how to lead with presence, to come from curiosity and care, and to focus on what matters. Additionally, we will have a 20-minute meditation sit in each session. To foster open sharing, these sessions will NOT be recorded.
 
NOTE: This is not a class. While there will be some exploration of the teachings in this book, we will focus on practice, practice, practice, combined with mindfulness exercises. Recommended but not mandatory: Purchase the book and become acquainted with the practices before our group starts.
 
Date/Times: Monthly May-October, 2nd Fridays, 12pm-2pm CT. NOTE: Attendance at all sessions is not required; however, we recommend you register only if you can make 3 out of the 6 total gatherings.
